You may be asking yourself these valid questions:
What are the benefits of subscribing to the Spirit of Connecting email group?
Subscribing to Spirit of Connecting puts you in touch with thousands of subscribers globally from a myriad of backgrounds, professions, and cultures. Our goal is to support and enable individuals to reach their business, intellectual, networking, and personal goals. Spirit of Connecting connects you to people who will offer you support, get answers to personal and professional questions, and help you as well as others in the global community.
How can I be sure of the quality of content in the discussion groups?
This is a very important question because many list-servs are free form and open, without anyone supervising or watching over the conversation. However, Spirit of Connecting is completely different because it is moderated by someone who makes sure SPAM and unsuitable content is never distributed to the group. Our goals and mission is to keep the conversations lively, but never offensive or malicious.
Who are the other Spirit of Connecting members?
Our members are comprised of diverse women and men who are interested in intellectual, empowering discussions designed to unite the global community. Our group also consists of individuals who are working, or looking for work, or students looking forward to working. Our subscribers work in business, technology, and the academic world; they are lawyers and consultants; they are in the media, in government, in not-for-profits organizations and stay at home moms. More than half of our members work in corporations, but many are entrepreneurs, many work from home, and some wear numerous professional hats.
